• Account information: Email address, password (hashed), and profile preferences when you register
• Payment information: Billing details processed via our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card numbers directly
• Communications: Messages you send us via email or support channels
• Watchlist and alert preferences: Markets you choose to track and notification thresholds you set

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, click patterns, and time spent on the Service
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
• IP address and approximate location
• Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
• Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure. EU-compliant
• Vercel: Hosting and deployment infrastructure
• Email service providers: For transactional and alert emails
• Analytics providers: Vercel Analytics (privacy-preserving, no personal data)
• Legal authorities: Where required by law or valid legal process

All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements and handle your data only as instructed by us.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Withdrawal of consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we retain anonymised usage data for analytics purposes. Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to our retention obligations.

6. GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under GDPR. Our lawful bases for processing are set out in Section 2 above. Our infrastructure providers are selected for GDPR compliance. For EEA users, data may be transferred outside the EEA where adequate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

To lodge a complaint, contact your local data protection authority. For the UK, this is the ICO (ico.org.uk).

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us their information, contact us at hello@predictionmarkets.exchange.
